DVCA’s bestyrelse har til formål at repræsentere og varetage DVCA’s medlemmernes interesser. I bestyrelsen er både venture- og kapitalfonde samt business angel repræsenteret, og den samlede bestyrelse arbejder for at søge at skabe gode rammevilkår og et sundt investeringsmiljø i Danmark.
Bestyrelsen understøtter DVCA’s politiske arbejde for både at sikre og udvikle investorforeningens medlemmers interesser, ligesom bestyrelsen målrettet fokuserer på at udvide og kvalificere kendskabet til venture- og kapitalfonde samt business angels i Danmark. Dette sker både gennem medier, medlemsarrangementer og møder med andre interessenter, hvor oplysning om DVCA-medlemmernes arbejde med risikovillige investeringer, aktivt ejerskab, udvikling af vækstvirksomheder og professionalisering samt ekspansion er blandt hovedtemaerne.
Direktør, Slotsbakken Holding ApS
Ole Steen Andersen is the director and General Manager of Slotsbakken Holding ApS. Ole Steen Andersen is also chairman of the DVCA. He is furthermore chairman of BB Electronics Holding A/S, General Manager of BBNewco 2016 ApS and Sanistål A/S as well as board member of Den Selvejende Institution Sandbjerg Gods, AVK Holding A/S and Scan Office ApS. In addition, Ole Steen Andersen is the former Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Danfoss A/S.
Managing partner, Axcel
Mr Frigast has a background in the banking sector. In 1994, he founded Axcel Management as Denmark's first private equity firm. Since then, he and his team have selected companies with growth potential, investing some EUR 1bn and returning almost EUR 4bn to investors. The current company portfolio is valued at around EUR 0.5bn. MSc (Econ.) from the University of Copenhagen with additional qualifications in corporate strategy and executive management from Stanford University and The Wharton School.
General partner, Northzone Ventures
Gregers Kronborg is venture partner of Northzone Ventures, serial entrepreneur, non-executive director and business angel. Gregers is living in London, and focus on Danish growth companies. Gregers is board member of companies such as TrustPilot and Fintech Solution Lab, and served on the boards of Napatech and Asetek during their early development and their respective IPO’s. Gregers also serves as deputy Chairman of the Danish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, Chairman of the venture segment of DVCA. Gregers holds a MsC in Engineering and a Bachelor BA.
Chief Executive Officer of Vækstfonden since 2001. Christian Motzfeldt has worked for Danmarks Nationalbank, the European Commission, Danske Bank and the Danish Ministry of Economics and Business Affairs. Graduated from the University of Manchester (MA Econ 1985) and Aarhus University (MSc Econ 1986).

Joined in July, 2008. Lars holds an MBA from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University and started his career at Boston Consulting Group in Chicago in 1994. He was one of the founders of BCG's Copenhagen branch in 1998 and became Managing Partner for BCG's Copenhagen office in 2001 and Senior Partner in BCG in 2007.
Erik Balleby Jensen

Erik Balleby Jensen er uddannet Cand.merc samt MBA, og var før han etablerede Capidea direktør i CVC Capital Partners i Danmark. Tidligere har Erik været afdelingsdirektør i Unibank og Senior Manager i Accenture. Erik har i Capidea primært været ansvarlig for fondens distributionsvirksomheder, og var bestyrelsesformand i EET Nordic Group og en del af bestyrelsen i Schades, Aagaard og Klokkerholm Karosseridele. Erik er næstformand for bestyrelsen i API og bestyrelsesmedlem i Creativ Company.

Sten Verland is a partner in the Life Science group and one of the three co-founders. Sten focuses on therapeutics investments.
During his career, Sten has been active as a serial entrepreneur and business angel and has co-founded ten start-ups, primarily in the biotech and CRO fields. While at Sunstone, Sten has played a key role in executing two exits (Action Pharma and Zymenex). Both deals made it to the global Top Ten list of published upfront cash deals in 2007-2012.
Sten holds a Master’s degree in Biology and Mathematics and a PhD in Immunology – both from the University of Copenhagen. Sten serves as a board member of the Danish Venture Capital Association. In his spare time, Sten is both a keen yachtsman and a big admirer of classical music.

Ulla has more than 20 years of experience working with innovation and business.
She has an extensive network within venture, media and the political sphere.

Ulla holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in business strategy, marketing and Corporate Finance.
Managing Investment Director, Novo Seeds
Søren joined Novo A/S in October 2011 as Managing Investment Director of Novo Seeds.
Søren obtained his MSc degree from the Technical University of Denmark in 1993 and his PhD degree in molecular biology in 1997 from the Technical University of Denmark. In addition, Søren has academic training as postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Prior to joining Novo Seeds, Søren served as global manager of Bioinformatics and Genomics at Novozymes. Before Novozymes, Søren was CSO and Vice President of R&D at Exiqon A/S where he was responsible for development of microRNA based products for life science research, pharma services and diagnostics. Previously, Søren worked in cancer drug development as head of Lead Identification at BioImage and as research scientist at Novo Nordisk.
Søren serves on the Board of Directors of Biosyntia, Denator AB, Reapplix A/S and RSPR Pharma. And since 2008, Søren has been board member of Danish Biotech (the Association of Biotechnology Industries in Denmark).
Thomas Weilby Knudsen
Partner, NorthCap Partners
Thomas has worked with venture capital (VC) for more than a decade. He has gained extensive experience in establishing new businesses across Europe and has specialized in maturing businesses for the US market. He joined IVS in 2002, and when it became Northcap Partners in 2006, he was a driving force in establishing the current Northcap team and firm.
Since closing his first VC investment with the hosting company eStructure.net in 2000, Thomas has now more than 20 investment under his belt. Taking a special interest in cloud computing and SaaS businesses, Thomas built his first SaaS business in 1996, which he grew to 200,000 subscribers across four countries.
Prior to joining the VC business, Thomas held several senior management positions in IT and Internet-based companies. Among other merits, Thomas led the Managed Services business unit at Cybercity (Telenor) launching a number of innovative products in a highly competitive market, and at TDC, Thomas built a new business unit from scratch. He received his M.Sc. degree in Finance and Business Administration from University of Aarhus, Denmark.
Around the office Thomas is said to have an impatient mindset, which might explain why he prefers action sports like running or mountain biking over a trip to the golf course.
