Northzone Ventures er blandt de ledende early stage venturekapital investorer i Norden. Northzone investerer i teknologi-virksomheder (IKT, materialer og cleantech) med stort vækstpotentiale, og hvor realisering af dette potentiale ofte forudsætter en internationalisering af virksomheden. Northzone investerer fra €0,5 mill. (typisk en ”seed” case”) til €5 mill. (typisk en ”expansion” case) ved første investering (A runden), og følger typisk op med yderligere investeringer op til maximum i størrelsesordenen €20 mill., hvis investeringscasen berettiger dette. Northzone har siden 1996 rejst fem fonde på samlet €325 mill. fra nordiske og internationale institutionelle investorer. Northzone investerer p.t. ud af den femte fond på €175 mill., som blevet rejst i 2006. Northzone består af 9 partnere på kontorerne i København, Stockholm og Oslo, hvorfra vi udøver et meget aktivt ejerskab via medlemskab af bestyrelsen. Northzone er typisk lead eller co-lead i investor-syndikater.
